On Friday May 16th and Saturday, May 17th, the CRERC will be hosting the second annual "Ladies with Purpose College Tour".  The group will visit the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, Temple and Drexel.  Last year's tour included Princeton University and Columbia University.

The group consists of high school students from throughout the Central New Jersey area.  Many of them come from families where very few individuals have attended institutions of higher education.  It is our belief that unless our young people see higher education as possible, it is not something they will actively pursue.

The Agenda

The trip commences on Friday morning with visits to the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel and Temple University.  The young ladies will tour the campus and then meet with representatives of the university. 

Friday evening consists of a social event and team-building exercises, so that the young ladies can get to know one another.

Saturday's schedule consists of a visit to Villanova University, where they will also tour the campus and learn more about the academic requirements.

We would hate for any of the young ladies to be denied to opportunity to participate on this trip due to financial limitations.  That is why we are providing you with an opportunity to sponsor one of our young ladies.  The costs of the trip (hotel, transportation, etc.) are covered by private donations from people like you.  Any contribution you make is fully tax-deductible.
